coach reimbursement
Fort Saskatchewan Minor Hockey is committed to supporting the development of our coaches. All coach education courses approved by Hockey Alberta are eligible for reimbursement through FSMH.
Once a coach has completed the required certification or clinic, they may submit their receipt to FSMH for reimbursement. This includes coaching clinics and education programs required by Hockey Alberta for your team’s level of play.
cRIMINAL RECORD CHECKS
To help ensure a safe environment for all participants, all coaches with Fort Saskatchewan Minor Hockey must have a current Criminal Record Check (CRC) on file with the association. This requirement aligns with safety standards established by Hockey Alberta and supports our commitment to protecting players and families.
Important Note:
Coaches must have all required certifications, including coach education and screening requirements, completed and on file no later than November 15 of the current season. Any coach who has not met these requirements by this date will be removed from the team roster and will not be permitted to participate in team activities until all requirements are fulfilled.
