2026-27 Volunteer Coach Application
Fort Saskatchewan Minor Hockey (FSMH) is now accepting applications for Volunteer Head Coaches for the 2026–27 season!
Whether you’re a returning coach or looking to step behind the bench for the first time, we’re looking for passionate leaders who are committed to creating a positive, fun, and development-focused experience for our players.
As an FSMH Head Coach, you’ll have the opportunity to:
🏒 Develop players on and off the ice
🏒 Inspire confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship
🏒 Mentor young athletes in our community
🏒 Help create a positive hockey experience for every player
Open June 13-Aug 1, 2026 – Players will be waitlisted when a division hits caapacity.
-Returning Players that played FSMH in the 25-26 season
-Players released by FSMH due to limited capacity in 25-26
Note: Placement is not guaranteed, registration is limited and subject to division capacity and ice availability.
NON-RESIDENT AAA/AA TRYOUT REGISTRATION
Open June 13-Aug 1, 2026
-All draw zone AAA and AA tryouts (Residents – Use Stage 1 Resident Registration only)
-All approved elite player movements
Note: Placement is not guaranteed; Tryout Fees are non-refundable.
AAA/AA SECOND TRYOUT REGISTRATION
Open June 12
-Registration for APPROVED Elite Waivers (Second Tryouts)
Note: Placement is not guaranteed; Tryout Fees are non-refundable.
Open July 12-Aug 1, 2026 – Based on availability after priority Stage 1 registration
-New U5 and U7 players
-New to hockey players
-New to Fort Saskatchewan players
-Approved player movement players
-Players returning from non-sanctioned
