TEAMLINKT Accounts


If you are a parent looking to register your player(s), or an athlete registering yourself, Fort Saskatchewan Minor Hockey (FSMH) uses TeamLinkt for all registrations. You can register by visiting the FSMH website and navigating to the Registration page, or by using a registration link provided by FSMH.

How to set up your TEAMLINKT account

Step 1: Go to the TeamLinkt Page
Visit: https://teamlinkt.com/toolkit

Step 2: Select Create an Account

  • Fill in all required information and select continue
  • Select “Parent/Family” and continue
  • One the next screen you will not select any of the options but select your initials from the top left corner and hit “my family”
  • Name your family and continue
  • Look for a button labelled “Add” on the right hand side and select create a family member from the drop down list
  • Make a profile for your child

Step 3: View your linked family members

  • Click on members on the left side
  • Select the initials of the child you are looking for
  • Look for any (red !) indicators beside any linked members for actions items that need completing

Step 4: Finding an HCR #

  • Once you have clicked on a members initials you will see their full name, the players home association will be listed next and under that you will see HCR#. Copy this and have it on hand for registration

Step 5: Check child’s Qualifications – Respect in Sport/Shift Forward Program

  • Parents/guardians of all players registered with Hockey Alberta are required to have at least one valid parent education certification on file. Hockey Alberta currently recognizes either the Respect in Sport – Parent Program or the new Shift Forward Program.
  • If you have previously completed the Respect in Sport program and your certification has not yet expired, you do not need to complete the Shift Forward Program at this time. Once your Respect in Sport certification expires, you will then be required to complete the Shift Forward Program to remain eligible for registration.
  • Families who do not currently have a valid Respect in Sport certification or Shift Forward certification will be required to complete the Shift Forward Program prior to registration being approved.
How to Create a New Hockey Canada (HCR#)

If your player has never played sanctioned hockey in Canada before, you will need to create a new HCR profile.

Step 1: Go to the Spordle Account Page
Visit: https://account.spordle.com

Step 2: Log In or Create an Account

  • If you already have a Spordle account, log in using the email address you have previously used for hockey registration.
  • If you forgot your password, click Forgot Password.
  • If this is your first time using Spordle, click Sign Up below the login button and create a parent/guardian account.

Step 3: Create a New HCR Number

  • Select the black Register Now button on the right side.
  • Enter your child’s first and last name exactly as shown on their birth certificate.
  • Click Search.
    • If your child already has an HCR number -Their profile will appear on the screen.
    • If your child does not have an HCR number: You will see the message:
      “We could not find your participant.” Select Create a New Participant and complete all required information.
  • Enter all information and hit create, you will then need to select Register – then next
  • One you hit the optional items screen you will need to select 1 in the qty and hit next “There is not charge for this”
  • Then hit complete – checkout – next – Accept terms and conditions – Complete
  • On the next screen Click on the invoice number to return to your Spordle account

Step 4:Find Your Child’s HCR Number

  • Click the Members tab on the left side
  • Select your child’s initials/profile
  • Click “view profile” View Profile ” to see your child’s HCR profile
  • Copy down the HCR number listed under your child’s name
  • Important: You will need this HCR number to complete FSMH registration.

Step 5: Check Respect in Sport / Shift Forward Requirements

  • Hockey Alberta requires at least one parent/guardian to have a valid parent education certification on file.
  • Accepted certifications:
    • Respect in Sport – Parent Program (Until expired)
    • Shift Forward Program
  • To check your certification:
    • Select your child under the Members tab and Click View Profile
  • Open the Qualifications tab
    • If you see a valid certification, you are good to register for the season.
    • If you do not see a Qualifications tab, or your certification is expired, you will need to complete the Shift Forward Program before registration can be approved.
  • If your Respect in Sport certification is still valid, you do not need to take Shift Forward until it expires.
  • Families who do not currently have a valid Respect in Sport certification or Shift Forward certification will be required to complete the Shift Forward Program prior to registration being approved.
